Need help…Does anyone know ..who adjusts pants?
I have lost a lot of weight recently….my waist size has gone from a 36 to a 33.5….some of pants are a bit too big now…does anyone know any tailors or some cloth services place in Toronto or the GTA (greater Toronto area) who will adjust my pants for a reasonable price…The reason I don’t want to get a whole new wardrobe is because these pants cost me a lot of money…I can’t spend the same amount of money buying more… I have talked to "TipTop Tailors" so far they are asking for $25+...

Just go to any drycleaner/ tailor and they will normally adjust them for a minimal price to the exact size you ask for. 1.50-45.00 dollars depending on what type of fabric. Give them exact size and inches you need adjusted (cheapest). Sometimes, they will have a fitting room and they will be kind enough do find out for you (maybe more expensive, but not much more....(Answered by cld6380) |

The blade on my Bulldog 10" bandsaw keeps coming off the pulleys. Do you know how to adjust?
I have a Bulldog brand 10" bandsaw. I recently replaced the blade (old one broke). The new blade ran okay for awhile, but now comes off of the pulleys/wheels after just a few seconds of operation. I don't have a manual, and can't find one online. If you know how to adjust the blade tracking, or whatever it takes to fix this, I'd greatly appreciate it.
If you don't know this specific bandsaw, do you know a book or website that you can recommend for generic bandsaw information that might guide me in the right ... (Asked by Don P) |

if you just replaced the blade and everything was working fine before,, then all you need to do is tighten the tensioner knob. since you don't have a book,, find the place were a lot of blade is free,, tighten the knob until you have about 1/4 play,, look on and behind the saw and see if you don't have a dial indicator!! this tells you the different settings for different baldes!!! try wood magazine.com and look in the section for cleaning and maintaining tools,, also Delta tools has a good section and a great CD that shows ...(Answered by fuzzykjun) |

I used to work for a jeweler, and this is how we did watch adjusts - there are 2 types of bands. 1 is easiest, there are just little pins which you can push out with the little screwdriver which comes with an eyeglass repair kit. The second and harder kind requires you to unscrew and then rescrew the band after taking out the number of links you need removed. Often there are arrows on this type of band indicating which way to push the pins.
