unfortunately this question is somewhat vague and even with details, it would be very hard to determine. Things you have to ask yourself is how much do you want to do yourself, how much to contract out? Does it need a foundation and footers and what is the going rate for those things in your area. Electrical, is it going to be complex or simple, and same for HVAC, drywall, siding, insulation. Depends on the style of classic craft door you want and what size you need. You can go to your local Home Depot, Lowes and anywhere else that sells them and ask for pricing. I've had 2 therma-tru doors put in and I loved them. They were worth the price. We're planning on installing them in the house we just bought....(Answered by parsonsel)

I come up with about 55 studs (length depends on height of your basement), eight 2x4x16 for double top plates(4 if single top plate), four 2x4x16 treated for bottom plates and additional studs for framing doorways and windows (egress?). pergo comes in boxes with 8 planks. the planks equal to about 20 sq. ft. each plank is 47 3/8" x 7 1/2". when figuring how many boxes to buy, you need to remember that pergo must be installed in an staggered pattern. it is also a good idea to keep a few extra pieces for future mishaps. sometimes when someone needs to replace a couple planks, they can't find to same brand or color. the approximate cost, depends on the color and texture, but most of it is less than $2.50 per sq. ft. you need to also buy ...(Answered by craighodson2)
