Do the same with builders and developers. See if they have a group. Whichever one you discover is applicable to your needs, join it AND BE ACTIVE! Get to be known as a "can-do" type of person! OR you could prepare a portfolio of your work and "cold canvass" the builders and developers. You should call the smaller to middle size builders and developers. If you're looking for a full-time, paying position, contact the ...(Answered by Ron Berue)

Why is it uncommon in the USA to build your own home from scratch?
Unlike in some other countries, why is it unusual in the USA that you build your own home from scratch? That in turn raises your opportunity for a sale as the potential buyer will remember your great flyer ahead of the rest that made cheap black & white copies....(Answered by hithere2ya)

I suggest you try mailing information about the work you do to U.S. and Canadian contractors. There are websites galore on the internet for almost every contractor there is in the U.S. Yahoo Answers isn't a very good place to be asking someone to get you work because they don't know you. Check out http://www.builderspace.com. This website will give you links to some of the major contractors in U.S. and you can even choose the speciality (i.e. mechanical vs. carpentry)....(Answered by happybirthday)
