Tristac, I use Thompsons water seal or waterproofer. It protects your deck, and the wood borers don't like the stuff at all. I am assuming you have pressure treated lumber on your deck, if not you definately need something to protect it anyway. I have not had any problems with this since I started treating my wood deck with this. Good Luck!...(Answered by Buddy)

A.
Carpenter bees are not like other bees. They are solitary. So you may have 1 carpenter bee, and makes one tiny hole, they don't actually eat wood as a food source. I had the same carpenter bee for several years, made one hole and never bothered anyone. Why do you want to kill every bug you see? At most they cause cosmetic damage to wood, they will not structurally damage your home and are important pollinators in nature....(Answered by The Un-Cola)

Eugene I have just arranged such a delivery with Impact Water (http://www.impactwater.com.au) who source their water from a bore in the Ipswich area. The're not cheap but when its necessary ... I have also found a ad in the local rag offering tank and pool filling services but I haven't rung them ... their number is 3264 1927 which sounds like a Albany Creek number. my first guess would be to contact your local council, and or your state water authority... bores are all regulated... and need to be approved... then you hire a contractor to locate the right place for the bore to go and you dig the bore......(Answered by wollemi_pine_writer)
