where in Deland,FL can I get a replacement cartridge for a Thermacell lantern?
I went to Thermacell.com and Thermacell. Net. I only need to know where I can get a replacement cartridge as Wal Mart does not sell the Thermacell lanterns anymore and that is where I originally bought the lantern.

Theres a few places. If you go to this site http://www.mosquitorepellent.com/wheretobuy.shtml and type in your zip code, and choose lantern, it will list all the locations in your area that carry their products. However, when I searched, Wal-Mart was on the list, so to be on the safe side, I'd call the store to verify that they do indeed carry what you're looking for before making the trip....(Answered by BearDown) |

What size cartridge filter is best for a 25,000 gallon in-ground swimming pool?
We must find a cartridge filter for our swimming pool as we cannot backwash. Our pool area borders a wetland and backwashing into a wetland is environmentally disastrous (and, not to mention, illegal.) So, sand and DE filters, and the like, are out of the question.

Hmmmm. Well cartridge filters come in all sorts of sizes. The things to keep in mind are size of pump, frequency of cleaning, and replacement cartridge cost. Size of pump is important because you don't want to UNDERsize the filter. Typically cartridge filters work on a flow rate of 1 gallon per minute per square foot of filter surface. There is some variation, however. DO NOT buy one too small for the pump horsepower. Frequency of cleaning depends on the size of the cartridge. Larger filters require less frequent cleaning.
