Q.
Do individual spring coils "sink" or is it firm enough?
The individual pocket spring coils keep motion transference to a minimum, but to what extent? If the heavier part of me sits on the bed, will my upper body / butt sink in further than my feet? If I sit on the bed with the computer, will I create a dip in the bed or are they strong enough not to do this? My traditional continuous-coil mattress doesn't do this, but I hear the individual coils are just more comfortable. ... (Asked by Voodoo Vixen)

A.
My least expensive, brand new queen mattress set (includes mattress and box) is $199.99 and has a coil count of 390. If you have something with 85 coils, it's absolute garbage. I have never heard of a mattress with so few coils ever. My least expensive brand new queen size pillow top mattress set also has 390 coils and sells for $299.99. Are you sure you did not misunderstand the person that told you the coil count--or perhaps they do not know what they're talking about. Even our least expensive twin sets have 216 coils....(Answered by Katie)

A.
Easiest to fix: dirt / dust preventing good air flow around coils. Not the most likely cause but easiest to fix. Most common problem: Low on refrigerant. Once the ice starts it acts as a blanket making it easier to freeze up. Run it in fan mode to melt the ice. Make sure it has somewhere to drain. Clean out / vacuum / blow out the coils inside and outside. Replace air filter. Clean & wipe down everything. If it still does it, make friends with an repair guy to recharge or repair....(Answered by david m)
