compensation?
I rent an apartment in Scottsdale AZ. The complex is presently working on replacing tiles etc on the roof!! (btw its 112 degrees during the day.) We are now on our 5 th day with no tiles on the roof. As we are upstairs you can imagine that the a/c is running constantly and rarely goes below 80 . we were not told of this work taking place..Should i be able to get some compensation for my electric bill. Its already ridiculously high, thats the price of living in the desert..But how much of this is due to having the ... (Asked by whostoleallthegoodnames1) |

Why don't you wait until you get your electric bill first?
It's good they are fixing it, you wouldn't want the roof to leak and ruin your valueables....(Answered by Landlady R) |

What would be the fair compensation for approved land aquired by SIPCOT in Pilliapakkam Village Sriperumbudur?
Most land in Sriperumbudur/ Sriperumbuthur on the Chennai to Bangalore Highway is being acquired by the Tamil Nadu Goverment SIPCOT agency, in order to hand over to International Investors. However since land prices are sky rocketing in and around Chennai City, and it is difficult to get approved land anywhere at rates below 10 Lakhs, I was wondering what would be the rate that the Government would be offering for land at Pillaipakkam village which is situated just 3 Kms from Rajiv Gandhi Memorial, and on the Sriperumbuthur to Tambaram Highway. 25/09/07 -There is a lot of land in Sriperumbudur/ Sriperumbuthur on the Chennai to Bangalore Highway which is being acquired by the Tamil Nadu Goverment SIPCOT agency, in order to hand over to large Indian and Multi national companies. Apart from this there is large contiguous area being planned for takeover by the airports authority for their new Greenfield International Airport. Therefore buying land anywhere within 20km radius of the Rajiv Gandhi memorial is fraught with risk, because even if a property is not earmarked for acquisition today... it could be tomorrow!!
