First of all, I had a hard time understanding exactly what it was you were looking for. If you are looking for a color that will help pull these colors together, I recommend a gold or deep tan. As far as how to physically decorate the room, if you email me a picture of the items and the room they are going in, I can come up with a floor plan and decorating concept for you. mommataurus@yahoo.com...(Answered by Jen)

Need a nice cozy Room / Atmosphere to rent out for Hosting a Party?...?
I just started selling candles and clothing an things like that, but I live in a place where it would not be sufficient enough for a group of people to be at, nor host a party at or for anything. I need suggestions, Good Suggestions, beyond asking to use someone's place or hosting it at someone's house and giving them part of a sample or discount and such, not that I mind, but I want to feel in control at my own party I am running for my business, and then things tend to get complicated sometimes in those types of ... I would call the bed & breakfast inns in your area-- they might be able to rent you their sitting room (in my experience, not a lot of people use them except the people actually running the place). It's cozy, with sofas-- even if they don't rent them out usually, they might be able to do it for you as extra income, since they're home-based businesses themselves....(Answered by Eliza79)

How can i make a room with glass walls and catherdral ceiling cozy?
I have a contemporary home over looking a bay. The view is stunning with one and half walls total glass. The room is about 5 yards by 6 yards. One wall is total floor to ceiling glass. Opposite this is the open plan style corridor defined by the lower ceiling and which is open plan to another glass bifold wall. Of the other 2 opposing walls one has a bifold glass door with a small section of plain wall (only about a meter wide) and then more glass and the opposing wall is a ... Consider darker, warm-toned panels - not full drapes, but panels. They don't close off space, but provide splashes of colour. If you paint what walls you can in a harmonious warm tone that should help. Also, consider painting the ceiling to match the walls, it will help the ceiling descend. If you can't replace the flooring and its dark, use a really bright and light floor rug it will ascend towards you, especially if it's warm-toned....(Answered by Kira P)

Assuming that this is like other basements, you will need lots of artificial light. Get the squiggly bulbs that operate on less energy without sacrificing light output...they are spendy up front but last 5 to 7 years so they may even outlast her stay in this apartment. Area rugs on the floor will knock the chill off, basements also tend to be cold. Can your friend paint? Her fav color in a warm medium shade will make things very cozy....(Answered by musicimprovedme)

A.
Here are some ideas you can be sure to create winter looks with the same furnishings. • Furniture arrangement: In the warmer months when there is beautiful foliage outside, I recommend facing furniture so that the windows or balconies are the focal point of the room. In the winter, it is preferable to have the focal point be the fireplace or television, or work of art- • Slipcovers: Slipcovers are a great way to instantly change a room. When you purchase or have your slipcovers made, be sure they are washable. You can have two sets of slipcovers for each ...(Answered by jayaraman)
