How to keep the crows from my garden?
I'm having problems keeping the pesky crows from garden as they are catching the smaller birds and trying to kill them, especially the baby ones. Repelling crows, while attracting other birds?
We live under a bunch of gigantic trees, usually there are a lot of different birds inside of them who make pretty pleasant sounds. We can hear them regardless of whether or not we have the windows and doors closed or not. For the past two weeks all we can hear are really LOUD, obnoxious crows all day long. feeder might not do. Crows usually move from place to place. Hopefully soon. If you happen to notice their food source. eliminate them. hope helped...(Answered by BruceLee l)

Only if they choose to. Crows are one of the smartest birds. If the song birds have nests with eggs or babies and the crows find it, they will eat the eggs or babies. Crows LOVE to harrass birds of prey (hawks, owls, etc.) and keep busy looking out for those more than they do song birds....(Answered by VikingLord)

Get a Mr Peanut cut out (life size) and leave a squirrel tail hanging from his mouth with a hand full of crow and leave him by the garden. No really. Go to the hair salon and see if you can have some hair clippings, Take the clippings and put it in a hairnet with some shavings of Coast or Irish Springs bar soap and put the in you garden. to the animal world everything is about smell. Depending on whether you live in the city or not, but you could invest in a shotgun (if you're a bad shot) or a .22 cal rifle (if you're a good shot). This way you could eliminate the problem. Also, it sounds like it'd be relieving too. If that's not possible (or preferable), figure out why they might be pecking in the first place. Do you leave your windows shades open for them to see something of interest inside? Maybe they are using the screen material for nesting. Tie plastic grocery bags to stakes (like windsocks) around garden. Looks tacky but works. Or, smaller plastic bags in pretty colors are avail., too. However, it'll scare the other birds. I agree with feeders for other birds....(Answered by Nana Ditto)
