Why does my water cooler only dispense cold water when it wants?
My water cooler has been acting funny recently. Hot water works no problem. But the cold water side is the problem. When I push the spigot, sometimes water won't come out normally. Sometimes it drips when I let it go. Sometimes it works fine. Before it works fine though, water will come out real slow for a few seconds. It's pretty frustrating especially when I'm thirsty. I removed the spigot cap to get to the line directly, and water doesn't gush out. So its definitely NOT the spigot gasket, spring, or operation.

Is the water cold when it comes out? If it is real cold comming out your water maybe freezing up on you. The thermostat maybe sticking and causing the water to drop below freezing. I would check the setting on thermostat and try raising it to see if you hear it click and leave it at a higher setting. If this helps your water maybe warmer than you like, meaning the thermostat probably is the problem and needs replacing. You can try unplugging it for couple hours and see if you get water....(Answered by Techman) |

where do you get these??
I bought a soap dispensor from bed bath, lil expensive one 1 mnth back. Yesterday i broke its beak. Does anyone know where can i get the dispensing portion ONLY. Its cus i have matching things with it in our bathroom so getting another piece will be a bad idea. I just wanna get the dispensing portion. I hope i m clear enough.

It sounds like a special piece which you can probably only get from the company that made it.
Go on line and find the manufacturer and send them an e-mail explaining how it broke. Many times, they'll send out a replacement at no charge. Otherwise, I'd just replace the whole unit. good luck...(Answered by propreno) |

Why Does Our Ice Maker Only Dispense Crushed Ice?
The dispenser on our refridgerator suddenly started dispensing crushed ice -- a feature that we seldom use.
But, the switch is pointed towards "cubed."
Why did the dispenser suddenly start crushing ice? It won't let us have just regular cubes.

Most dispenser refrigerators work one of two ways:
Either the dispenser motor changes run direction for crushed & cubes, or the bucket has an arm on the side of it that is controlled by a solenoid that activates for cubes & causes the ice to bypass the crusher blades.
Sometimes, the wire arm doesn't get inserted right after reinstalling the ice bucket & sometimes the solenoid burns out. Remove the ice bucket, tape the door switch closed, activate cubed & crushed ice, & you will see how it is supposed to work...(Answered by applpro) |

JRSD225 Maytag/JennAir ice despenser only hums and does not dispense ice after cleaning freezer compart and ice cube tray does not fill completely with water. This is a followup after Spocks answer (thanks! Spock). Everything was working perfectly until we emptied and cleaned the freezer compartment. Now the ice cube tray only fills partially but still makes ice with the water that is available. Its like the flow is too slow or the flow cycle is too short. make sure the auger is seated in the arm that comes from the motor....could be that water has frozen behind the motor....if u can flush the supply line or replace....check that the supply inside the freezer is not constricted due to frozen water and slowing the amount of water to the tray..........(Answered by bigg_dogg44) |
