A.
Not dissolve, freeze it out. Fill the bottle with water until the cork stands up in the neck...as much water as you can get in. Put in freezer....the ice will push out the cork. Remove before ice expands enough to break the bottle and then thaw. Best wishes...you can do this......(Answered by gene_frequency)

We've had one for about five years now and it is no smaller or wetter than it was when we got it. I know salt is supposed to attract moisture from the air, but it doesn't. It's really just like a big piece of rock. I tasted it when we first got it, just out of curiosity, and it really is salt! We use it for a night-light and I really like it....(Answered by It's That Guy)

A.
First of all, bird poo is seriously known for carrying diseases, so be careful not to touch it barehanded. Try to lay some bleach down for a little while before you go about this, to kill the diseases. Believe it or not, Coca Cola is the best known product for removing bird droppings. I don't know what to say about it. Just pour it on, and leave it for about 2 hours, then pressure wash. I'm not kidding in the least. When I was in the NAVY, we had all kinds of cleaning products, but coca cola was what we used ...(Answered by Rockstar)

A.
It depends on what kind of glue was used. If they used the most common non-waterproof white glue (which looks clear when dry), it should give way to water after soaking for a while. Mix a small amount of hand dishwashing liquid soap (not the caustic nasty stuff used in dishwashers!) in the water to make it wetter. It will tend to cause wooden parts to swell, so be sure and test the process on a small area that's hopefully not visible, in case it doesn't work....(Answered by HyperDog)

Yes use a stripper. It is some extremely toxic stuff. You just brush it on and let it sit for a little bit then you use a scraper or wire brush to remove the paint. It will take it down to the original wood. Check your local hardware store or lumber yard....(Answered by Nick E)
