A.
It's Slime Flux: Slime flux is caused by several types of bacteria that infect the sapwood of many different trees. Microorganisms associated with the disease are found in the soil and probably enter through wounds above or below the soil line. Over several years, their population increases. This shows up as a dark, watering fluid that drains from cracks, pruning cuts, etc and may drip down the tree. This liquid also supports the growth of other microorganisms, which contributes to the "slimy" texture and bad odor this is typical of slime flux disease. There are no controls for slime flux disease. ...(Answered by El Diablo)

High temps will bubble the sugar water inside the feeder & it'll drip out the feeder ports. Perhaps you could move the feeder to underneath a low tree branch or somewhere where it is in the shade all day....(Answered by Bluealt)

First - shut off the water supply under the sink. Then check to make sure the valve itself for the piping isn't "broken" or leaking itself. If so - get a plumber. Sweating pipes (if copper) is for experts. Then take apart the faucet, knobs themselves to see how the bushings themselves look. If you have a single "arm" - just unscrew the bolt under said arm and replace the bushings....(Answered by goododie4)

try placing a doormat on top of your a/c but keep in mind that it should be of a size that does not cover the entire top portion as the slats need to be kept uncovered for the heat to escape. you could place the doormat during rains n even if it is completely wet...it will let the excess water drip down but will muffle the noises effectively. If you want to prevent water from dripping down then alternately try to place a flat container with the doormat over it on top of the a/c .......(Answered by Lady L)
