Q.
How can I fold socks so that I can put them straight on my feet when unrolling them?
I'm told there's a particular way of folding them so you can put them straight on your foot .. I currently pair them on top of eachother (dorsoventrally flattened) then fold them in thirds and tuck that into the neck of the back sock [does that make sense??]. It's almost navy-style, but with a fold instead of a roll. They're neat, don't stretch the elastic and are easy to organise in the wardrobe. I can't find this 'other' way online anywhere. If it's more efficient and still neat, I need to know about it. ... (Asked by <frouste>)

Haha..well since you helped us with our highschool science experiment with the bacteria, we'll help you with you sock dilema. You start with one inside out and the other right side out. You fold the inside out side sock over the right side out sock. when you want to use them, take the sock that's folded inside and pull it out. Then you have two right side out socks. Thanks again!...(Answered by lylitalianbeauty)

Q.
How does "wash & fold" laundry services work?
Folks, My wife and I are at our wits end with laundry. We both work and have 3 kids and cannot find time to wash and fold laundry. I have heard of dry cleaners offering "wash & fold" services but is this a real time saver? How much does it cost? Do they sort it? When we get it back...will they separate out husband, wife, kid1, kid2, kid3.....or do we just get a huge pile back. How do they package it (i.e.-in a box, bag or what). ... (Asked by Cowboy)

You should ask these questions of the cleaners. Also, do you really want somebody pawing at your wife's unmentionables whilst fantasizing? And ten minutes later she shows up to take them home?...(Answered by hesitantgenius)

How do you fold a T-Shirt?
So I'll admit that I'm a little obsessive... I like to keep my clothes folded neatly -- both at home or when I'm packing luggage for a trip -- but I can never get my shirts folded as nicely as what I find when I go to a store. The way I do it is I fold it in half then take the corners of the corresponding sides and push them into the concave of the other (kind of liking placing one bowl in another). Then I fold it in half and do the same again, this time with all four corners. At that point it's practically a square and simple to fold....(Answered by curious student)

YOU DO NOT NEED TWO PEOPLE! If I had to have two people to fold my sheets, I would have baskets of laundry all over my house! Folding a fitted sheet can be a frustrating task. Those elasticized corners, though convenient for keeping a sheet firmly in place on the bed, can become a jumbled mass when improperly folded. Fortunately, there is a relatively easy technique for folding these tricky linens neatly—it just takes patience, and a bit of practice. Technique Folding a Fitted Sheet 1. Start with your sheet inside out. While standing, hold the sheet in ...(Answered by Susan)

i'm 12 and know exactly how to do it. here we go...! shirts-lay down flat, and face-down. then, take one sleeve and fold inwards, meaning folding the sleeve so the opening will be connected to the other sleeve. do the same with the other one. now, fold the SHIRT itself i half, not to mess up the sleeves. you're done! shorts/pants- lay down flat and face down. take one 'leg' and fold it onto the other leg. that's it if you're doing shorts! but if u are doin pants, you also have to fold them in half again. boxers- see 'shorts.' socks- take your ...(Answered by jillybabe)

Is it normal to fold underwear?
My husband insists that I fold his men's briefs for him in a tri-fold. I could understand boxers, but briefs? Do most people fold their underwear this way? farien: It annoys me that he wants me to be so meticulous about something that he is just going to grab out of the drawer and slip on. I could see rolling them to maximize space, but I really don't see why they need to be tri-folded. Need a video here. Ok. Take the fitted sheet and place it on the bed with pocketing towards you. Now fold over the edges, just one side, to look like a frame. Now go the other side and bring that in to reverse fit inside that folded over side. Not lost yet? Put your hands into each pocket side and raise them up in the air, shaking to settle into that frame thing again. Anywhere close? (Not an exact task - perfection not required.) Ok - now lay it back down on the ...(Answered by Quest)
