Lizzie -- I'm not a professional candy maker so this is just a suggestion. I don't think you should add a powdered cinnamon because it would burn also if you add a liquid to the 300*F syrup there is a good chance you could get burned because it will almost explode when it comes in contact with the hot syrup. If I under took to do this I would add the flavor and color at the time the syrup comes to a boil or just before. And I would use cinnamon oil if possable or those little cinnamon red hots ...(Answered by jim b)

I need a simple recipe for an appetizer or a dip that I can do in 10-15 minutes. Here's the catch... I have to demonstrate how to make this in a classroom. I'll have no stove or microwave. I have to use all cold or canned ingredients. I'd like to do something that I can serve with crackers or chips. I just did the same thing tonight! I thought the lasagna we had was only baking for an hour and it needed to bake for 115-125 minutes. First...relax! Your guests will be fine.... Keep the temperature at 400... if you make the temperature too much higher, the sides of the lasagna may burn and the middle won't cook right. Here's what you do.... make an appetizer and serve wine! While the lasagna bakes, put out some crackers and cheese....maybe some grapes... or run to the store and buy a melon and wrap slices of prociutto around the melon slices...and serve with wine. You could ...(Answered by Michele)
