You can only attempt control, you cannot erradicate them.
Outside,,,Bug zappers, no standing water, IE: barrels, buckets, pots.
Lakes or wetlands??? MOVE!
Inside: Screening, not leaving openings that allow access.
DEET, OFF, etc.
Sprays perhaps, but why???

I want to repell roaches, ants, silverfish and mosquitos without chemicals...what to use?
even if it's something that only works half the time, I would like to know about it...or maybe just a mild chemical. I have newborns at home and can't use anything that will be too strong or lingering.
Well, the ants are seasonal around here. I dont leave food out so they wander around in the bathroom going in circles;mosquitos are seasonal too....as for the rest, i'm pretty sure they did come from another home

Just buy one of those pest away plug ins at Wal-Mart or Target. They work great at keeping away bugs, rodents and all kinds of little creepy crawlies. They don't use chemicals, just plug it in and it works for about 1000 square feet. They are safe for larger animals but if you have hamsters or something along that line, it probably wouldn't be a good idea. It sends out a high-pitched frequency that the small rodents/bugs don't like and they just run away....(Answered by amandajfuller) |
