My home is being overrun by scorpions! How do I get rid of them??
In the past week we have killed 10 scorpions. I have a 17 month old daughter and don't want the two to mix. I don't want you simple call an exterminator answer, because I have been told that they don't do very good with scorpions (mostly just your roaches, silverfish, ants, spiders, and the such). I am using glue traps, and that helps, but I want them out all together! Some help please! PS - No I don't have any piles of rocks or wood or any other attractants around my house. You will need a 'carbamate' type pesticide. Try to find a Sevin powder that is wettable. If it is wettable you can mix it with water and spray it through a sprayer. If not then get Sevin dust and powder you house inside out, and underneath. You can get help from your county Agent. Look him up in the phone book. He can tell you what to do-thats his job! He would probably be happy to assist. Most people do not even know they have a county Agent-but we all do!...(Answered by johnnywalker)

When you water a plant that is in a planter then you should pour the water directly into the saucer. In that way you dont have to worry about the saucer overflowing. Also it is good for most plants to water in this fashion. When you water this way the soil will soak up the water and give the plant the nutrients that it needs....(Answered by Just_Friendly)

How can I get red of squirrels, I am totally overrun by them?
They are not only eating the apples which I really don’t care about, the raccoons help with that, but they eat the few peaches I got this year, they are in to the plums, the raspberries and now the little beasties are running off with my tomatoes and they don’t even care weather they are red or green, The little monsters dig up the ruts in all my flower pots. I sprayed hot pepper, black pepper and garlic on all my pots. Oh my, did it ever smell out there! The garlic helps a couple of days than ... (Asked by Pisces)

If you let them bite you they hang on long enough take then outside. If you have a lot of plants in the house take them outside they lay their eggs in soil. You also need to stop them coming in; keep all outside doors and windows shut unless you are screened in. We periodically have a lot of them but they keep the bug population down and seem to reduce in number over time....(Answered by katie V)

My father-in-law died 2 years ago. He was a real hoarder, he kept everything. My wife had to get rid of so much worthless stuff, it took her days. Now our own house is free of clutter, we have completely cleared the loft, we have stripped the bedrooms, the sitting room, the shed, everything. So when we go there will be hardly anything to 'sort out'. Now we think twice about buying anything new. Our house is delightfully simple. Our children will not have the same headaches when we shuffle off this mortal ...(Answered by jenkin1950)

Get some professional pest control in. If your in the UK you can get in touch with your local council who should be able to help. I really wouldn't mess around with DIY rat poison, as well as the curious kids finding dead rats If you don't retrieve the dead bodies the poison can get in to the wildlife food chain by scavenging animals eating the poisoned carcasses or you could go out and buy a Jack Russel.......(Answered by )
