How can I have an oversized storage building moved?
I have a 16 x 24 storage building that I need to have moved about 6 miles. I've contacted the company that built it on-site at my house and they don't move buildings that large. I've also contacted house movers with no response and the local towing companies can't move it.
Does anyone have experience with this type of situation and how did you get your building moved?

I had a friend go through the same thing a few years ago. He wound up cutting it in half, renting a crane and flatbed truck. Hauled it to new house, and reassembled it.
I would have just left it, and bought a new one for the new location....(Answered by tom p) |

What kind of bee looks like an oversized yellow jacket?
I see this bee mostly at night and they like to get up into my porch light. I have looked around the yard and found no nest. One of these bees stung my sister several nights ago for no apparent reason. They make a very loud buzzing sound.

It probably won't be a bumble bee...bumble bees are black with one yellow stripe. Mostly, they just go about collecting pollen. I hate bees, and I've stood several times and watched (at a close range) a bumble bee go about it's work. They don't (usually) bother people, althought here are exception.
You said it's lartge, so I'd say it could be a wasp or a hornet. Either of those are large are will go after humans if they get too close. They're also the most dangerous and hurtful kind, from what I understand.

inground pool gaining pressure and loosing output volume?
I have a hayward 1 1/2hp pump and a hayward ec-65a regenerative filter. I start at 15psi w/ great output of water. w/in 25minutes I am at 30psi and poor output. Filter blocked or oversized pump?
I have backwashed, I have removed the interior and soaked it in detergent, it is clean. I removed the disacharge orbits (everything I could think of to reduce resistance) I am leaning toward the pump being to much for the filter.
Is the difference between a 1 and 1 1/2 hp that great?
thanks

As pressure increases flow decreases. Clean the filter and the problem will go away. I don't have my pump flow charts anymore (since I retired) but I'll betcha the pump is too big for the filter. Look on the filter tank and see what the maximum flow rate is for that filter. Most 1 1/2 horse pumps deliver approximately 78 gallons per minute. But there is a lot of variation, depending on models etc....(Answered by windancerhil) |
