Dinkies Painter pants, do they shrink? I bought the Off White Real Dickies painter pants, they are like a 100% cotton canvas material, but i do not know if they shrink at all. has anyone bought these of wear them and can tell me, thanks! they were bought at OSH, so they are worker clothes, ya know. oops, its dickies painter pants, haha! im so stupid! ... I suspect my contrator painted my house with just 1 coat ,he also only used 1 painter, how can i confirm this? I see white paint (previous) at a corner where paint is peeling. I noticed at certain areas i can see small white patches, as i did not plaster - budget :( , there were a lot of holes nit filled properly with paint - I believed its a matter of trust, I asked the contractor & the painter & of course they said 2 coats but how can i prove it. ... Ask him how many gallons of paint he used?? But first get the square footage of the paintable surface of your house, that you asked him to paint, including eves and overhangs. Go to a paint store or call Home Depot to find out how many gallons it would take to cover this area twice, then compare answers....(Answered by knotashock)

It has been my experience that painters usually charge by the job. But, it is a relatively low-skill job. So, I would say at least $10 to $15 an hour, depending on experience. I have a couple friends of mine painting a wall for me right now. I give them $100 for an 8-hour day, or $12.50 an hour....(Answered by Paul in San Diego)

I am an artist (painter mostly) who loves architecture. Are there jobs for artists w/architects? I am a painter mostly, but would be willing to learn a creative trade (e.g. tile making, art / window screens, and the like) to be able to work with architects - preferrably on large projects that in some way allow for the highlight or showcase of the less "architectural", more artistic pieces. I believe the decorator and painter must WORK WITH YOU! These two professionals are on YOUR payroll. i don't know about quebec but in ontario i have never heard of having to be licenced unless it is specified in a contract or maybe if you work for a bloody union well then that's a different story. i have been a painter for over 25 years and have never needed a licence...(Answered by brian200759)

With a matte clear coat to protect the wood from the steam generated by the sauna. The rest of the unit will be supported by each opposing wall and thus have a propensity to remain square, but the door is on hinges and needs to seal perfectly without warping from moisture. trouble shooter is right...they are junk..You have to water the latex down so thin..it is practicaly water..It will take 8 or 9 coats to attempt this and will be blotchy and more than likely run rigth off the doors and trim..totally junk...(Answered by pcbeachrat)
