Can I use a waterbed mattress on a regular frame?
I was going to use my mattress with my box spring and just layer it with something else so the box spring has no chance of poking the waterbed but is that possible or will the waterbed keep falling off or something? And will the regular frame even be able to hold it?

Hi.. I've been selling waterbeds for over 34 years... I believe, I understand what you are trying to do..
If you are thinking about adding one of the soft-side waterbeds (the waterbed that looks like a conventional mattress) to your exsisting frame and box spring... here's what you'll have to do. You will need to upgrade your metal bed frame so that it has at least 9 legs for the additional support.. You will also need to upgrade your foundation (box spring) to support the additional weight of the water.

Is there a name for this kind of table? If so where can I get one made?
Problem is that my home is soo tiny even a small dinette set would take up to much space. So my idea is to find a long skinny table to use so it can flank the wall then have 3 little stools fit neatly under it. Prblm is I can't find a table like this. The closest thing I've found is a long sofa table but it was too shrt only 26". What kinda table am I looking for? Do I just have to get one made? Where?
I can't just put in a counter ledge b/c my BF won't ... (Asked by dasmygurl) |

A kitchen cabinet company can make what you need.
We had custom cabinetry done for my husbands office and needed a long narrow table at the end of the conference room. They can be any length or width you need. Ours is 16" wide and 6 ft long. Mahogany Formica finish.
It will probably be the more expensive way to go.
The drop leaf table is the best idea. Watch for estate sales, senior citizens frequently have them. They give you a dining table when needed but fold down very narrow.
I personally would find a more adaptable boyfriend....(Answered by Samm) |

Should I replace my twin mattress with another twin or go for a full? Or even a queen?
Hi, I'm in my 20s, I currently sleep in a twin bed and that's always been fine, but my mattress is getting old and there's a spring in it that keeps poking me so I'm going to replace it. Should I stick with a twin or go up to a full or even a queen? The thing is, I don't plan on having any guys sleeping in bed with me (that's just not how I was raised, so don't make fun ok) and I just figured that when I ever get married, I'd get a big bed with ... hmm, you could go one of two ways. IF you are comfortable in a twin, then buy another one. If you get married, then you can use it as a guest bed. Or get the queen (a full really isn't worth the hassle), and sleep with more room. That's what I did. And again, it can always be used as a guest bed for a couple later on....(Answered by Cindy) |
