A.
More than likely they are tadpoles. Frogs lay their egs in water, strings sometimes contain "thousands" of eggs. Then they hatch into tadpoles, and then eventually they morph into frogs. They can start out very, very little. I doubt it's mosquito, the lay dormant and don't move around. They stay floating among stagnate water....(Answered by stretch)

An animal, plant, or natural object serving among certain tribal or traditional peoples as the emblem of a clan or family and sometimes revered as its founder, ancestor, or guardian. b. A representation of such an object. Decide if you want to carve a 'traditional' native american totem pole, or if you want to make one that is representative of you and your family; or perhaps just a bunch of fun faces. Q.
There are a series of trees with poles that appear to be metal coming out the top. What are the poles for?
The trees with the poles in them are located in Orange County, CA and are visible from the 241 toll road just south of the I-91. They aren't cell phone towers or supports, since I'm familiar with what those look like. They are a series of about 10 trees that look like they have lightning rods sticking out of the top about 5 feet above the tree tops (although they are in a rut, so probably aren't lightning rods - plus not many thunder/lightning storms on Orange County). ... A.
Some forms of ivy will grow anywhere like up an eavestrough on the side of my house, where the ivy adheres right to the brick so i don't see why it wouldn't grow on a telephone pole. Is it legal, probably not but ivy is hard to control and if it is around a pole like a telephone pole it will climb regardless of whether you wanted it to or not. Let the telephone company cut it back if it bothers them. Once it reaches the top it will definitely become a major problem and if they think ...(Answered by Mr. PDQ)

Pole Chain Saw?

if (as you say) you've used a regular chain saw don't expect any where near the same results with a pole chain --- there good for trimming ( a bit like a hedge trimmer ) but that's it --- you actually answered half your question inasmuch as the leverage --- some soft wood limbs that are quite thick ( such as poinciannas ) but otherwise it's a bit difficult --- but like the use of any power tool --- common sense should always prevail . good luck...(Answered by bill g)
