Which is better: a gas cook top or an electric cook top?
I'll be building a new house soon and need to select appliances. My wife and I are debating on the type of cook top to put in the kitchen. I would ideally like an electric oven and a gas cook top while the wife prefers all electric. Please help shed some light on this subject.

I prefer gas because you get instant changes in how hot the burner is, compared to a slower response time with electric burners. I'm not sure I have a strong preference for gas or electric for ovens, but I do have a strong preference for an oven that keeps an even temperature, which seems to be a function of mass and insulation.
Why does your wife prefer electric? And who does the most cooking and cleaning? I'd say principal cook and cleaner gets the most heavily weighted vote here....(Answered by kay) |

You simply enroll with someone who is already a preferred customer as a preferred customer. You still have the option to do it as a business but you don't have to. Every preferred customer does because the only requirement to be a business builder is to be a customer. If you need someone to enroll you I would be happy to. It's all a matter of speaking with you on the phone and taking your information to enroll you. You are welcomed to email me if you like at missyworkathome@yahoo.com

I agree, but with a caveat. Only spend what you can afford. Don't go into heavy debt to get the best and most expensive. And spread it around evenly. I work as an interior designer and I tell my clients this all the time. If you have a budget of, say $10,000, don't blow $9,000 of it on furniture. Because if you do, you will be left with $1,000 to spend on paint, lighting, flooring, and windows. And trust me, a $200 rug REALLY looks like a $200 rug next to a $7,000 ...(Answered by Christina D) |
