the bottom of my swamp cooler has a pretty bad rust its almost rusted through what can i put on the bottom to?

Get a piece of sheet metal, and attach it with either pop rivets, or screws. You can even bend it to make the bottom part of the door, and bondo it to the bottom.
Or, get some bondo, and fill it in, and sand it smooth and then prime and paint it. It can look just as good as new.
Enamel paint for this job.
(Oh, to make the bend in sheet metal, take a 2X4 and lay it over, then take a hammer and start to tap it, to a 90 degree. that is, if you dont have a "brake" ...(Answered by Woodworkingmenace <the_starwarrior>) |

What's the prettiest way to mount coax cable to a wall?
I just moved into this house where the cable comes out of the most INCONVENIENT spot in the room. How can I run cable along the floorboards and over a door entry, without looking ugly and tacky?
Any products you can recommend to me?
I have tried self-stick conduit in the past, and it just peeled off the wall as soon as summer arrived.
I don't want to do any inside-the-wall wiring because the house is a rental, and thus I don't have the homeowner's priviledge of making costly errors.

Paint the coax cable the same color as the walls.
Then run it along the floor to the nearest corner, using cable fasteners that have a single nail on the side.
Then run your cable up in the corner to the ceiling, make a right turn and then run along the seam where the ceiling and wall meet over to the corner nearest your TV. Then come down that corner, along the floor and finally plug into your TV, cable box or whatever.
Don't use U-shaped staples or other fasteners which can compress the coax cable - it will change ...(Answered by Tom-SJ) |
