How can I get the pee smell out of clothing?
My son has been wetting the bed and peeing in his pants on almost a daily basis. He is way too old for diapers of any kind. That is not even an option. I heard that pee contains scent crystals that reactivate when wet which is why it is damn near impossible to get out of laundry. Now nearly everything reeks of pee! I have tried baking soda, extra laundry detergent even pet oder stuff. Nothing has worked! His mattress is even worse. He has a plastic sheet on it now but ... (Asked by Scarlett)

I would first take your son to a specialist and see exactly why he is wetting the bed... Get a fabric waterproof cover for the mattress.. It's easier to wash than plastic and your son probably won't remove it if it's comfortable... Plastic is noisy'hot ! To get the smell out of his clothing/linens... You may want to use Arm/Hammer detergent and also add EXTRA baking soda about a cup per load... You can wash his bedding in HOT water.. I would SOAK the load for at least a half hour... For his clothing warm water and turn the clothing inside ...(Answered by pebblespro)
