Rubbing alcohol will remove ink and marker stains. Hairspray leaves a sticky residue and it's the alcohol in it that is the "active ingredient" If they are vinyl seats and the ink has permeated it use benzoyl peroxide acne medication. You may have to repeat several times. This is the remedy doll restorers use on vinyl dolls (picture valuable Barbies with little brother's "artwork")...(Answered by adodooder)

Natural remedies for eliminating odors in the home?

Actually, all of the above answers will help, with vinegar topping the list of effective odor neutralizers, believe it or not. And by the way, painting the walls will not necessarily remove the odor, but mask it further unless you use a Kilz type product. Too much work! Try washing the walls and surfaces with a vinegar solution. Sounds odd, and it will smell like vinegar for about 24 hours. But it does neutralize odors, and dissipates by itself. A sponge, placed in a bowl of vinegar in a room will soak up odors. Baking soda can be placed ...(Answered by bec_ker6)

Try using an ice cube on the spot before you wash them. Also, using something like Shout! works, too. Be sure to rub the spot against another area of the pants (like the crotch) so that you loosen any blood on the threads. Although you're most concerned about the visible part of the pants, don't forget to concentrate on the inside when you're using a stain remover as that is the source of the stain and, in this case, where the blood be the heaviest. Wash the pants as you normally would only use cold water instead of luke warm ...(Answered by LovrsDrmrsnMe)

At what age did you start asking them to help? When I was a Girl Scout leader, one of the moms was telling the rest of us that she expects her children to make their beds when they're three. Some of us thought it was too soon, but honestly it wasn't. A few years later when the rest of us were struggling to get our kids to do the simplest of tasks, her kids' rooms were neat and clean. I learned a lot from Marlene. Her kids took care of their own clothes (dirty clothes to the laundry area and ...(Answered by Terrie B)

A.
I had a Siemens Top Line. It was excellent, but it cost a fortune. Also, I didn't expect the clothes to come out completely dry. I'd only run the dryer part for about 40 minutes and hang them for the finish, which only took a few hours. The combination sets use condensing action, which is quite inefficient. The best dryers are separate but require good ventilation, which is often difficult to achieve. In a different flat, I had a separate dryer and a long accordian hose out the back that I could stick out the window. ...(Answered by patrioticjock)
