I would do something more like a straight up meat dish. You could serve it with either pasta, rice or mashed potatoes. You might also want to add soups to your menu as the weather gets chillier.
Here are a few ideas...

the secrets!
Good Sir, you must let your meat come to room temperature before you even consider introducing it to heat!
you should preheat your cooking utensil. I for one do not use any sort of lubricant, but if you have a non-stick pan, you can do that.
You MUST then open the room temperature package of steaks. Leave them in the package. Salt and pepper the steaks facing you! Use good salt (only kosher or sea will do!) and fresh ground pepper.
With gusto, transfer the steaks, salt and pepper side down, on to your heated cooking implement. ...(Answered by Buzzy) |

Fat is the answer.Restaurants always use too much fat and it is this fat that enhances the taste of the food. Then there is the psychological effect restaurant food has on your body.It is different from your own cooking and your body looks forward to tasting something else.Your taste buds are therefor more acute.Another thing that might have an influence is MSG(mono-sodium glutamate).Perhaps restaurants use it as a food enhancer(It is possible but I have not seen this yet. Most foodstuff already has some MSG added)...(Answered by Snowey) |

Does anyone know how to make restaurant-style Ranch Salad dressing?
I love the Ranch salad dressings served at restaurants, like the Ranch dressing they have at Denny's, but I have not found a recipe yet that actually tastes like the Ranch dressing from restaurants. I don't like store bought Ranch dressings, and I don't think the little powder packets of Ranch dressing mix, like the Hidden Valley Ranch packets, where you just add mayonnaise and milk/buttermilk taste restaurant-style. Could someone please submit a good recipe for Ranch salad dressing that tastes similar to the Ranch salad dressing served at restaurants?

Restaurant?
I may only be in 8th grade, but I have very big plans for my future! I plan to open a restaurant when I am older. I plan to call it Just Desserts. And as you probably have guesses, it will only serve desserts. It isn't exactly going to be a bakery though. But I need a little help. How should I plan oppening it. I am already going to have my friends taste test my recipes, but what else can I do to make sure it could be succsessful enough that it may even start a chain?

Not to burst your bubble but "Just Desserts" is already taken.
You need to come up with a business plan which addresses cost, location, clietele and how you plan to market your business.
