I grew up with a separate bath/shower and a dressing room. What you are taking about is a restroom and a bathroom. How can I isolate sound between rooms in my house? I live in a tri-level style house. On the middle floor is the living room (where a TV is usually being viewed) and on the bottom floor is the family room (usually where another TV is being viewed simultaneously). There is an opening to go downstairs between the middle floor and bottom floor, and sound travels through there like it is a megaphone. There is no door here.
