What you have is an ant graveyard, minus the headstones and flowers. Nobody is exactly sure why ants choose one spot over another, but the fact that you're seeing so many dead ants could mean that: 1. You have a huge colony somewhere who's ants are reproducing so fast they have enough dying of old age, disease or injury to cause such a huge pile. 2. The species of ant you're seeing is not the dominant colony but is being destroyed by another colony, and they're just taking away their victims. Either way, once the ants have chosen a place to dump their dead, ...(Answered by Competition Pest Control)

How do I select a general purpose needle type and size?
I only use needles for two things. I sew on buttons usually with button thread. I may also fix small seam rips. I have been buying the large assortments from the dollar store and I find that I usually just pick a needle at random and the eyes are too small. I would like to buy one or two sizes and types that will handle my sewing needs. What do you recommend? Is the there any disadvantage of Embroidery over Sharps. I like the larger eye. What is a good general purpose size? ... (Asked by Barkley Hound)

How do you keep ants out of your home?
We are living in a basement suite and are being run out by tones of ants. There has been about six large heavy rainfalls in the area in the past month and high heat periods between them and with each the ants seam to get worse. Everything I have done seams to increase rather then decrease the number of ants. We have a newborn daughter and therefore would like a chemical free solution if possible. So far i have made my SO become much cleaner and no food (not a single scrap) is being left left any where for them ... (Asked by CowtownMummy)

A.
No, the better quality do not have the seam down the center because they are made from fabric that is 108 inches wide. Try out a bed and bath boutque in order to get a good set of sheets, or the better quality stores. They might be costly but they will last a long time. Hope this helps....(Answered by twentyeight7)

Q.
What is the best way to find a leak in an above ground pool?
I have an 18 foot round above ground pool. It will lose aprox. 3 inches of water a day. It drops to just about the return ‘eye’ ball then stops. I would have thought it would be somewhat easy to find once it reaches it lowest level, but I can not find a hole or rip or split in the seam at all. Also, it does not seem to be coming from either the strainer port or the return. Any suggestions? ... (Asked by I Believe!)
