What are the ingredients for making my own protein shake?
I want to drink it after i workout every once in a while, to get stronger, not to gain a bunch of weight. I dont have the money and want to get my muscles bigger! It needs to taste pretty good!! Also, if u can, please tell me the estimate of how many grams of protien r in the shake. i hope it is easy to make, just by a blender. Ive heard of peanut butter, raw egg, yogurt, milk...is that good? what else?

Homemade Protein Energy Shake
Ingredients
50g dried skimmed milk powder
500mls fresh milk
Milkshake powder
Method
Mix the dried skimmed milk powder into a smooth paste with 100mls of the milk.
Put all the ingredients into a hand blender and blend until frothy.
Benefits
An amazing 35gms protein and 99gms carbohydrate energy for just 81 pence!
It also contains less than 1% fat when made with fully skimmed milk.
Alternative Suggestions
Add a banana and some honey.
Add fresh fruit such as strawberries, or frozen berry fruits.
Add natural yoghurt for a thicker shake.

Does anyone know of a good green mango shake recipe?
I tried a green mango shake at a restaurant called Dad's in the Philippines. It sounded wierd at first, but actually tasted pretty good. It's perfect for this warm weather and i'd like to try making some. Please help.

"Ingredients
1 medium (8-ounce) ripe mango
1 8.45-ounce container vanilla soy milk
2 teaspoons honey
Directions:
1. To prepare mango, cut thick slices lengthwise down both sides of the pit, as near to it as possible; scoop out the flesh from each slice and place in blender. Cut around pit to remove any remaining flesh; discard pit and add the flesh to blender.
2. Add soy milk and honey to mango; puree until smooth. Serve immediately or refrigerate for a frostier beverage.

I have a question about making Shake-n-bake chicken. Do you leave it in or turn it over midway?
The box says to leave the chicken in the oven throughout the entire baking time, which is what I do when I make Shake-n-bake.
My dad, however, leaves it in half way (skin side down), turns the chicken over, and cooks it the rest of the way. He believes that this makes for crispier skin.
So is there a right way to cook Shake-n-bake? Any ideas on how to make a crispier skin?

honestly, I never use the bag, especially for the bar-b-que kind, which is great. I spray a cookie sheet, lay the chicken or whatever meat on the sprayed pan, shake over the tops well, and bake the whole way through. Also, the Parmesan and the Ranch ones is great sprinkled over fresh fish (Talipia, flounder) and baked, even though the packs doesn't mention fish. I do it all of the time, especially the parmesan one, we love it. Make with a side of broccoli and mac and cheese, our kids fav. meal!...(Answered by Wutz it worth 2 ya?) |
