There is a product called MX-30 I think. It is only $1.00 at the Dollar Store. I works GREAT! It comes in a tub and is like "GOOP" to me, but it has gotten lots of stains out of different things for me. It is found near the laundry products. It is in an Orange/White container with blue lettering if I remember correctly. Whink is good on clothes for rust, but not too good on surfaces. The MX stuff says it removes most stains from washable surfaces. GOOD LUCK!...(Answered by dixies_dynamic_diva)

How do I get old blood stains out of a shirt?
Well here goes. I was getting ready to go somewhere nice and was shaving when I cut myself. Unfortunately some of the blood got on my nice shirt. I was in a hurry to go and so I put on another shirt and left. When I returned I washed my shirt in with my laundry but when it was done some of the blood stain was still there. It's not a white shirt so bleach is out of the question. What would you advise? ... (Asked by Grease Lightning)

Hydrogen peroxide will take it, no matter if the blood is fresh or dried. I used to work in a lab, & we used peroxide on our clothes all the time to get the blood out. Just dab it on. It will start foaming. Use a clean, dry cloth to absorb the blood. Repeat as needed, then launder your shirt....(Answered by Sawyer)

Naval jelly is supposed to be good, as someone else suggested. You buy it at a hardware store. Also, in the supermarket there's a product called Whink that will definitely work, though you might need a few applications. Whink will be in the laundry products aisle.
