I have only done two and it was quite a major undertaking--
1. Tear out all the flooring so you can see how much of the structure is rotten.
2.Take a picture, measure the lenght of all the foor joist etc: that has to be replaced.
3. Remove the toilet and fixtures and probably the tub or shower.
4. Take a sawsall and cut all of the Joist, Studs, etc: back to solid wood
5. Cut the replacement support wood to fill the area that you just sawed out and put "scabs" on each side to tie the new wood to the good wood remaining.
