What to look for when mattress shopping? I am in the process of re-decorating my bedroom and I am currently matress shopping. I own a waterbed so I've never done any mattress shopping before. I have no idea where to begin. Matresses seem so expensive and there are so many to choose from. Where do I start? What should I be looking for? Mattress Shopping? My fiance and I are shopping for a new mattress, and we are pullign are haor out over it. Just bought Queen mattress set from Mattress Discounters-The first set we returned -because It bowed like a banana yet supposed to be one of their best. We payed 1400.00 for a sealy posture pedic pillow top that SUCKED!!!!!! SO we went around & around with management untill they agreed to let us return it for an exchange-they would NOT give us our money back!!!!! So we exchanged it for a Sterns and Foster Firm pillow top and guess what It also bows in the middle this set was 1900.00. We had the bed now ...(Answered by Sally)

Question for people who are shopping for new houses.....? I am going to be selling my home soon. When you are shopping for homes, do you pay a lot of attention to the colors of the walls, or do you figure that you will be painting them your own colors anyway? The reason I ask, my husband wants to repaint the entire house before we sell, and I think it is fine. The kitchen is a little dark, a taupe color, and our bedroom is an army green color. get the CAD files and change the scale, then work on the areas you need to. 'enlarging' on a copier throws the scale way off.. it may be close here and there, but on the construction side, it is very unreliable. 1"=30' is fairly uncommon for scale (at least what I work on). Also, the original plans should be dimensioned, and that is what you should use, not scaling from it.. use the architects dimensions....(Answered by bilko_ca)

I need help shopping for and decorating my new bedroom.? I'm getting married and my fiance and I are wanting to go ahead and get our future sleeping quarters set up. Our room has brown carpet and my fiance recently bought (without consulting me) some willow-colored sheets.
