What danger is there from eating raw musrooms?
Hello. I am a student, and a very bad cook, just started, I am not experienced, and sometimes food doesn't cook well.
Very often my mushrooms are half raw. I mostly cook basic white mushrooms (dunno how their called). Is there any desies I can get from such mistakes? What dangers are there.
I just want to be sure that I don't go to hospital with some poisoning or smth., who wants that, Really?
So you might be saving my life here =) Thank you...

The varieties of mushrooms you can get in the grocery stores are not a problem to eat, whether cooked or raw. Raw mushrooms are often used in salads, etc. You will not get a disease or get sick from them.
However, if you are eating mushrooms that are picked at random, for example, from a local forest or someplace wild, you must be careful. There are some poisonous varieties out there and cooking them will not take away the poison. Stick to grocery mushrooms and you will be fine....(Answered by Double Dachshunds Owner) |
