Call the structural engineer that designed the slab. I would not want to guess at what to do or take the advice of a lay person. I there were a failure later you might be held responsible. Putting rebar next to it might be one option but if you have broken the insulation on the cable I am sure that will have to be repaired as it is there to prevent rust which could eventuraly result in failure. If you don't know who designed it call engineers in the yellow pages, I think you will probably find one to answer your question about ...(Answered by Homes R Me)

Here is ballpark numbers to help with the cost estimate. (Assuming ideal conditions with minimum to no prep work) 1. $1.35 - $1.75 per square foot - for sheetrock or brick walls 2. $3.00 - $3.50 per square foot - for trim if installed. You also need to add in prep work, materials, mobilization, and labor costs. Don't forget most of the time a cheap estimate will yield a cheap or bad finished product. Make sure you get a reputable painter, with references and ask to see previous work. Lastly, (I have learned this the hard way), ...(Answered by therandman)
