How can i keep spiders off my pergola?
How can i keep spiders and other bugs off my pergola and outdoor furniture? It would be nice if we could sit outside sometimes without being visited by spiders hanging over our heads! Sometimes we go outside in the morning and theres strings of webs everywhere, any ideas?

Wow, only dick heads have replied to your question so far!
What I think you should do is get a good insecticide (I know I hate poisons too but this is an extreme case) and spray it around a perimeter of your patio/sun room on both the ceiling edge and the ground edge, this will make an invisible barrier that the spiders/bugs cannot cross.
It would be hard to draw some natural spider predators into your room since the most common one is birds and you don't want them in your house, so I would do the above.

How do you get rid of spiders?
I just moved into a new house and realized there are these spiders in the basement. They have really long legs with a small body resembling daddy long legs but aren't. I've tryed to research these online and they seemed to be called Cellar Spiders. But the big question is how do I get rid of them. I have a phobia of spiders, so they need to go. Help!

Spiders a tough to get rid of. Most insecticides don't kill spiders....but they do kill the bugs they eat. So call your local exterminator and tell them you want those spiders gone. They will be able to get rid of some...but not all of them....(Answered by Hex92) |

How do I get rid of Spiders outside?
Hello, I am in my first home of my own :)
I am trying to save money so I do not want to use pest control services very often. So I bought a sprayer and some Spectracide Triazacide (sp?) concentrated insect spray. I applied per the instructions around the outside of my house.
I am not sure if it worked for other insects, but the Spiders are still everywhere. I live in Missouri and they are bad here, including Brown Recluse spiders.
They are really bad on my decks, they get in my garage, and they are in these bushes I have outside. ... (Asked by RightLight) |

Spiders !!!!!!!?
Do spiders make holes in the ceiling and walls? I've had a lot of spiders coming into the house lately and sometimes they can spend days wandering around in a particular room - I've noticed some small holes appearing in one of the rooms where they have been - the holes are of various sizes - the same goes for the spiders! - is it likely that these holes are made by them?
they are pin sized holes , some are much bigger - they've just appeared out of nowhere.....
