get a t5ho lighting fixture designed for aquarium use and use 6700k spectrum light bulbs. these fixtures are low energy/high output and will do the job quite nicely. you'll be looking at spending a few hundred dollars though. i'd check ebay for cheap or used fixtures. depending on the area you are planning to grow the plants, you will probably want at least a 4-bulb fixture....(Answered by Ryan)

A.
Flowering won't kill the plant if it is healthy, however it will slow the growth of the plant noticeably. Unless you want the seed for planting, it's best to cut off the flower stalk. You can read more about propagating your venus fly trap here: http://www.flytrapcare.com/propagation-of-venus-fly-traps.html It sounds like it may be already pretty large on your plant, and if that's the case, it probably won't matter much at this point if you cut it off or not. Normally if you are going to cut it off, you do it when it is less than an inch high. ...(Answered by CP lover)

A.
If you can get to the back, insert a screw in the back side of the appropriate size. Should be about twice as long as the material the nut is in is thick. Tap carefully but firmly on the head until the nut comes loose. If you can't get to the back, insert a 1 1/2" screw from the front. Place a 1" thick piece of wood or some other material that will not scratch the surface. Rest the head of a hammer on the block and use the claw to pull the screw out, taking ...(Answered by be_a_lert)

Yep, B&Q etc.... assuming they have the correct diameter. If not, a bit of sneaky self-help. Clean off the end of your pole, dry etc... stick some sticky labels, tape on the end, just a thin single layer. Cover this in vaseline. Get some fine glass fibre mesh from a car accesory shop, and some glass fibre resin. Wrap the glass fibre mesh around the pole (where you have taped it), then paint the mesh with resin/hardener. When you have finised & this is set, you can pull the resulting tube from your pole, remove the tape, and you will ...(Answered by johncob)

the best way to store them is in a sealed box. Also there are 100's of different kinds of aloe. Make sure you dont have the irritant type. The best way to apply it is straight from the leave. Trim up eash side with a knife taking the spines off. The split up the centre with a knife and voila, you can use the both sides and apply stright from the leave....(Answered by Halox)

A.
The spike on the orchid plant is what many people would consider the "stem." It is the support base for the blooms of the orchid flower, and is dotted with "nodes" or little dark bumps spaced relatively evenly down the spike. Take a look at this diagram: http://www2.ville.montreal.qc.ca/jardin/en/info_verte/feuillet_orchidees/humidite.htm...(Answered by bibliophile_1976)
