Yes. Even otherwise it will stink since once outside in the air the humidity will make in harden and with time it will be food for many small creatures and could also smell. Why would you sprinkle milk powder in the neighbour's yard? You hate him? You better give the powder to him so that he/she can use it....(Answered by rajan l)

just spray a few areas that you see them and if it kills them spray other areas and if their affected then use it until your problem is solve if it doesn't i sugest geting a bug spray made for killing ants that don't poison nething but them....(Answered by Brandon)

can i sprinkle black pepper on the dirt of my house plants to get rid of fruit flies?
I am being 'attacked' by these little so called 'fruit flies' that are i believe coming from my house plants (the moisture/dead leaves etc) someone suggested sprinkling black pepper on the dirt itself. (i do use the sticky fly traps..that does help a little..i have used the vinegar in a tin plate..that helped a little..i also spray bug spray for flying insects on dirt..i don't know if this helps)..it is so funny..these bugs seem to actually come up to my eyes and face to attack me..we really have no love for one another....ok all joking aside..i just want to know..have ... I had that problem too this year. There are bug stickers that can be put up high on the windows (the bug crawls over it and gets poisoned and falls down dead) and there are non-poisonous yellow sticky stickers or tabs that you can put into your pots using a stick or wire of some kind, usually in the box with the stickers. Recommended is one for every yard or meter of pots. Shake the plants once in a while to stir them up so the flies jump onto the yellow sticky surface when they land. ...(Answered by kitchenchemist)

I was always told to use lime in a vegetable garden to keep the insects off of them. Buying Lime is to much You should try (7 Dust) Its cheaper and very affective. Will not harm any of your gardening,Easy to wash off .Using Lime if you put to much on your plants you will BURN them up ,You can apply all the 7 Dust you want.7 Dust is also affective on keeping small animals out of it to...(Answered by Gary)

cats do not like the smell of perfume, find a large bottle of inexpensive perfume, or solid strong potpouri, should do the trick, with no harm to the cats....(Answered by onecent1232003)

Is it true that if we sprinkle grits on top of an ant hill, they will eat it, swell up, and die?
I was looking a way to get rid of ants, and someone said that sprinkling uncooked grits on the anthill will cause them to die. They said that the ants will eat the grits, which will then swell up after absorbing the juices in the ant's body, which will cause them to split open.
