Don't use a lighter or a nail polish remover. The lighter will melt the plastic and the nail polish remover will eat at the plastic. I'd say soak in water to get rid of the paper part of the sticker. Then to get rid of the gooey part you can use rubbing alcohol. Put it on a cotton ball or facial pad and just rub in circles. The alcohol will cause the gooey stuff to ball up and eventually stick to whatever your using to rub it with. If you use enough alcohol ...(Answered by iamphearless)

How to remove stickers from glass windows which are heated by the heat of the sun? hi there, In my room i've stuck some sticker which is a size of A4 papers. And i'm trying to remove them but if i pull them out there will be some left still stuck, so i want to remove the whole sticker easily. WD-40 and a Razor. Works like MAGIC!!! Spray WD-40 liberally on the gooey mess and let it sit for a couple minutes...then scrape off with the razor....(Answered by Vegas_Bound)

The stickers they put on crystal to id the company how important are they to the value of the piece? remove the stickers....a piece value is determined by the manufacture and quality ....every manuf. has its own calling card to id their prod. by design or look .... take for instance all of those appraisal shows you see on TV .... there were no stickers back then .... but yet they can tell you who made it ... when ... and where .... .. but if your sticker is on the bottom with id code...leave it alone...(Answered by moblade103)

wood alcohol and steel wool will do it, as will acetone (which might also remove the paint, but). I use eucalyptus oil - it leaves a refreshing smell on the room for some time after. Euc oil is also good for getting labels off glass jars and things....(Answered by John S)

Well ... we just put in new windows and they ALL had those stupid reallys sticky stickers on them. I sprayed them with windex with amonia waited a just a few minutes sprayed it again and wiped it off with a paper towel. dont even bother trying to peel of some of the paper first . just spray it right on . it will just roll right off. make sure it is really wet when you wipe it. you may have to do it a couple of times to get all of the sticky glue off but it really ...(Answered by mylady)
