restoring a farm table?

1. remove white halos (like from a sweating glass)
2. repair the 'bubbles' on the tabletop.
any help would be great! i know there are lots of home remedies for furniture repair, and i have access to a lot of ... (Asked by pandora) |

I would first sand the table all the way down to bare wood. That would get rid of the halos. As far as the bubbles go, the only thing I can say is try a syringe full of glue and squirt glue under the bubbles then clamp. The only other alternative would be to completly strip all of the old veneer off and apply new stuff. What is under the bubbles? is it solid wood or particle board?
