Blueberry Bushes Dying?
This is our second summer in our new house. First summer, our 6 blueberry bushes had MASS amounts of blueberries. First summer we didnt do a thing to them, except cover them with netting and keeping squirrels away from them. THIS year...ugh!! we mixed in some alum sulphate (we were told to do this by our local gardener). Bushes went from a rich green to all their leaves being a yellowish colour and hardly any berries at all. The ones that are there, are wilted and stopped growing. Are you getting any rain, I recommend watering them and if I'm not mistaken, you should put sawdust around them. Just so you know, others are having bad years also with the blueberries....(Answered by captainweeble) |

Problem with my pool again.?
I am a new pool owner and Im having some problems with the chemicals. I had it opened professionally (shocked and started...) Am using the chlorine tablets. Now about 1 1/2 weeks later the waters turning greena and the tester strips are showing everything is very low. Some people told me to shock it again and I did. Still green, still not showing chlorine. What to do? thanks.

Adjust Total Alkalinity and pH (in that order.) Then shock the pool. Make sure the filter pump runs long enough daily to turn the pool over twice. If you don't have a floating chlorinator- get one. Tablet chlorine will help you yo maintain a chlorine residual....(Answered by windancerhil) |

How can I become a product tester without going through those online promos?
There must be a way to get directly to the manufacturers, without going into all those online promos and third parties, who openly let you know that they sell and give out your info to others. I am a mother of three who could genuinely make use of numerous products and give more than adequate feedback. I would be grateful for any inside information on how to get directly to the manufacturers. Thanks

Consumer research firms recruit testers. Try checking for them in your area. Once you get on their list, they will call you for all sorts of things.
My family has tested household cleaners, foods, and sanitary supplies. It's even easier to earn money by participating in focus groups, at which you will give feedback on products without having to do the at-home testing.
