A.
Tomatoes need about 6 hours of good direct sunlight. Morning sun is best because it drys the foliage off quicker and helps to prevent disease. I have had success in both morning and afternoon sun. With all the different varieties you can find one that will work in almost any yard. I grow mine from seed using mail order catalogs which can give good info such as, ease of growth, flavor, disease resistance, size, maturity date, and so much more. I love tomatoes and are my favorite after work snack....(Answered by JustHonest)
