This is not a very easy question. Why? Because we don't know where you live. Click add details and I can locate some places for you. Home depot has alot of good stuff but I don't think you can rent equipment there or Menards either for that matter....(Answered by WDubsW)

A.
Since your house is finished, and not new construction, there are a couple of things you can try to solve your leaky basement problem. Trenching in drain tile, close to your foundation, and hooking your downspouts from the gutters into this new drain pipe, (usually 4" PVC or corrugated flexible pipe), can sometimes solve the leaking. The drain piping should carry the rainwater away from the foundation to a lower point in your yard, or to a ditch, gully, etc. Also, make sure the grade around your house is built up enough so that the ground slopes ...(Answered by canoe)

A.
You don't. There are two options. 1/ replace the entire line ( requires a lot of digging) 2/ Have a pool pro pressure test the line. He can do a leak location during the test and tell you within 6 inches or so where the leak is located. Even under 6 inches of concrete and 3 feet down. (less digging and cheaper than replacing the entire line) Then it's just a matter of digging out an area one man can work in, down to the break and inserting a coupling in the line. Typically, the hole in the deck can be just ...(Answered by scubabob)

A.
I believe you can. You will have to know the minimum depth that the building code requires for these types of services. It will be at least 18" maybe 24". The electrical line will require RWU90 or HMWPE class insulation (for direct burial) installed with no underground splices. It is always a good idea to instal in plastic conduit for protection. Water I would go with plastic and a heat tracer. If you do not want to use a heat tracer then make sure the water line is below frost level for your area (I assume the gas if for ...(Answered by frozen)

I believe that a inch per foot is too much. You have to think, the water will outrun the solids. Therefore leaving the solids behind wherte no place to go, slowly clogging. I believe that the proper "fall", is a quarter inch per foot bevel. If you don,t feel certain, call a plumber, they'll tell you the proper "fall". Good luck....(Answered by El Toro Malo)
