There are several types of cuttings that can be taken from plants, including stem cuttings, root cuttings, and leaf cuttings. The method most often used to propagate herbs is stem and root cuttings. Leaf cutting do not contain a vegetative bud so a longer time is required to produce a plant (2 to 4 months). In theory it should work for most plants. However you will need ideal(constant light, constant temperature) and sterile conditions. You will also need petri dishes with a special medium. It is a small (or larger) bent pin that is pinched to insert it and then springs back so it won't come out of it's placement unless it is pinched and pulled at the same time. It looks like a steel bobbypin....(Answered by notuptoit2000)

When you pull them up the roots look tubular. They pop up everywhere. They have a series of tearshaped leaves growing on each stem. The look is similar a fern , but it grows very tall and the so called bark can become very thick if not destroyed. It also leaves a strong odor on your hand when you pull it up. ... (Asked by mentor)

Maintenance for Ipomoea coccinea 'Red Cardinal'?
Bought this strange looking creeper during the summer at a garden centre - has very fine, forked leave and red tubular flowers. Unexpected cold weather killed most of it before i brought it indoors. It is called "cypress vine" here in SC and grows wild. It is a climber that will take full sun to part shade. It is a prolific seed producer, and can become quite invasive. Iif you can collect seeds they start easily in a sunny, south window in about 7-10 days. I'll send you some of my seeds if you like. Contact my Avatar.
