Lost In Ground Sprinkler Valve Box - 1 Zone Missing?
I recently bought a house which for all it's problems has a very nice in ground sprinkler system. It has 7 zones, I can find 6, and can not locate no. 7
Is there a way to find the missing valve without digging up my whole yard?

Try to let zone 7 run for a while. Check your water meter and see if there is water movement. Also make sure that someone just didn't wire zone 7 to the timer and no zone 7 out in the field.
If you feel the timer may be faulty, move the wire from zone 7 and put it on another zone that you know works.
You can rent a valve locate from your local irrigation supply house or go and buy the Weathermatic Smartline controller. It has a built in valve locate and is reasonably priced.
