I've been really pleased with my LG set. They are quiet, reliable and work great! I got a washer that also will dry the load of clothes and a companion regular dryer. It's amazing to go to bed with a load of towels in the washer at night and to wake up to them dry! I would recommend that whatever you get, you consider frontloaders. They save A LOT of water and wear and tear on your clothes. My clothes come out cleaner. The original cost is a little higher, but I find the extra ...(Answered by Big C)

Why do we need a base for front-load washers?

The base is for people of normal height who don't want to get on their hands and knees to empty the machine. If you have small children, or can rent/buy some, save the $200. Otherwise, your back will really appreciate it if you get the base. Wait a few months, and the ads will offer the base @ no additional cost....(Answered by OrakTheBold)

It depends on the model and make. Average is about $100 dollars each. Higher quality ones can go for $200-$250 ones. But you also have to consider how many years old they are too. Also, how much does it cost to advertise them or are you going to put a poster up in the local shopping center? Realize that its a pain in the neck for someone to move them is import too. Good Luck!!!...(Answered by J.V.)
